People waited on street to see her

but Andrea was a no show. A crowd of nearly 300 were left crestfallen.
She could have gone out with a bang with  images of being lead away in
handcuffs while the crowd cheers. Andrea however, preffered to leave the
stage queitly. She didn't wart to risk running nude again in public. "I think I
would only do it again if it was  sponsored for charity. It has been a laugh
and it has cheered people up."
Instead three glamour models sponsored by a magazine were stripped,
ready for action and prepared to step into her running shoes.
But to the disappointment of the waiting crowd, many with cameras at the
ready, the girls walked a few yards down the street posed topless for a few
seconds then disappeared.

While Andrea's actions first reported by the Manchester Evening News
have not drawn the attention of the law there were several officers patrolling
in Tib Street, including two on horseback.
Phil Burke, chairman of the Northern Quarter Residents' Association which
covers the area, said: "I think this is all just a bit of fun and to be honest I
don't think anyone minds seeing a bit more of it."
Builders working on flats nearby donned T-shirts with the words
"Tib streaker" as they gathered to watch was going on.
Matt Smith one of the construction workers on Tib Street said: "It's a good
idea, there should be more of it."
One man said: "It's just a bit of fun and the police shouldn't be arresting
them." One bemused female onlooker said: "It doesn't take much to get
blokes excited does it?"
